Meet Our Founders

In 2014 Jordan, Katie, and their four children started Hope in Our City, a Christian non-profit serving refugee, immigrant and low-income families in the Sun Valley neighborhood of Denver. Hope in Our City provided a variety of supplementary programs to holistically strengthen families through education and mentorship. Over time, Jordan and Katie witnessed the educational needs of the children of Denver grow. This was apparent in the children of the families they served, as well as in their own children. Additionally, they were experiencing the preclusion of traditional values and perspectives, with students being taught what to think instead of how to think. They began to dream of a school that would provide joy and opportunity through solid academics and the nurturing of hearts to students of diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. Their dream became reality as Reign Christian Academy took form and opened during the fall 2023.
