Brett I. Williams, J.D., M.A.
Brett I. Williams is blessed to serve as the Reign Christian Academy Head of School, bringing 25+ years of senior leadership experience to this position. Having begun his career in K-12 education, Mr. Williams then transitioned to 10+ years of leadership in the local church. While pursuing two bachelor’s (B.A.) degrees (in both Communication and Psychology) at the University of Nevada – Las Vegas, Brett concurrently served as a youth/young adult pastor for a local church. After his undergraduate studies, Brett then moved to Pasadena, California where he earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Intercultural Studies and Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary. Utilizing his seminary education, Mr. Williams and his wife then moved to Colorado, where he was the founding pastor of a church plant in Boulder and then was hired as teaching pastor of a large church in Englewood, CO.
Brett’s multi-cultural ministry experience has taken him from coast-to-coast, serving in leadership as a senior pastor on Long Island in New York as well as in non-profit leadership in California. After serving in the local church, Mr. Williams spent time in the corporate world as a Senior Marketing Director before attending law school where he earned his Doctorate in Law (J.D.) with a focus in trial advocacy. While attending law school in the evenings, Brett worked full-time as the Assistant Director of the San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission in North Hollywood and Northridge, CA. Mr. Williams oversaw the operations and staff development of a facility which placed situationally homeless families in temporary housing while teaching them job skills and supporting them in getting on their feet . . . all in the name of Jesus. Mr. Williams has most recently served as Dean of Student Culture and Assistant Principal at Lotus School for Excellence (LSE), before being selected as the Executive Director / CEO, where he served since March 2020. LSE is a high performing K-12 public charter school in Aurora, CO, serving 950+ students from 30+ nations and 30+ spoken languages. While under Mr. Williams’s leadership, the LSE high school was honored as the #1 ranked school in the Aurora Public School district (US News and World Report).
Brett is married to Marissa, an entrepreneur and professional mental health counselor. Together they have two daughters, Ashlyn (16) and Addison (13). Mr. Williams is blessed and grateful to have been chosen to lead RCA in this exciting time! He is committed to blending instructional rigor with faith-based practices, while developing young boys and girls to make a missional impact in society.
