Reign Christian Academy provides students and families with an academically and morally rich experience that shapes their minds and character, so they become exceptional young men and women. We combine the innovative ideas of flexibility, personalization and whole child development with the time tested traditions of classical education and Christian faith to give students a unique and extraordinary education experience.

“A good head and good heart are always a formidable combination. But when you add to that a literate tongue or pen, then you have something very special.”

Innovation

Respecting How Each Child Learns

Each child has his or her own strengths and challenges. Reign Christian Academy’s flexible and personalized approach allows all children to flourish. Mornings are designated for instruction and afternoons are flexible based on student need and family choice.  This unique structure:

  • Provides the freedom for students to:

    • Return home to complete their schoolwork on their own time.

    • Complete their schoolwork during an independent study time at school alongside teachers and tutors.

    • Receive targeted intervention.

    • Engage in enrichment opportunities.

  • Allows educators to come alongside students to provide personalized attention and support that honors each student and how they learn.

  • Positions students to become self learners and take responsibility for learning independently at an early age.

  • Provides students with individualized, small-group, and multi-age learning mediums to meet every child’s unique needs while nurturing strong social aptitudes and relationship bonds.

A classroom is not the only place a student can or should be learning. Parents are a child’s first teacher and must remain deeply involved through every step in their education. Additionally, it is not enough for students to learn about the world through books and lessons but must also learn through experiences. Reign Christian Academy offers a four day learning week with Fridays left open for family time and occasional school sponsored activities. This unique setup:

  • Gives space and time back to students for family time and other activities that contribute to developing the whole child.

  • Recognizes parents as the primary teachers and guides of their children and builds a positive relationship with parents around a shared vision for their child’s education.

  • Embraces students ability to learn at home, at school, and through experiencing Colorado.

  • Organizes enriching activities that encourage new interests, cultivate a heart of service, and open the eyes of students to the many educational and career opportunities that lay before them.

Restoring the Balance Between Home and School

The Christian Tradition

We are rooted in Christ. Through Him we know love, truth, wisdom, beauty, goodness, and justice. Our curriculum is taught through a biblical worldview and students will learn about Jesus, His teachings, and the Biblical narrative. Students experience:

  • Christian faith that is integrated rather than added to curriculum. God is the foundation of all subjects and studying brings students to a better understanding of God and His creation.

  • A loving Christian community that embraces the diversity of God’s creation.

  • Every teacher and staff member, starting with the principal and founders, as a conscious role model and witness to Christ.

  • Our view that family homelife and close parent involvement are essential to raising healthy, virtuous kids.

  • Powerful, robust faith and character formation that helps shape students into flourishing human beings and lights in the world.

  • Careful intention put into developing students as image bearers in mind, body, and spirit.

Meets Tradition

The Classical Tradition

To educate a child’s heart and mind, we must teach him or her how to think, not what to think. A classical education teaches students to love reading, writing, math, history, science, and the arts by sparking wonderment, deepening understanding and drawing him or her closer to Truth. Classical tradition:

  • Bases instruction on the natural phases of child development.

  • Integrates subjects for a more indepth and connected understanding.

  • Employs disciplined study that fosters critical thinking, advanced literacy, and excellent communication skills.

  • Provides schole, which is built in time for reflecting and processing information.

  • Prepares for the future by building fundamentals that are the foundation of any work.
